I am an Institute of Integrative Nutrition - certified health coach from Norway. I take a holistic approach to health, which means that I focus on all areas of your life that support and nourish your overall health such as mindset, food, exercise, and rest. I am here to cheer on you as you embark upon your health and wellness journey, helping you find lifestyle choices that make you feel your best. I have a positive and energetic personality that I hope will make you feel uplifted and motivated as we work together to create attainable goals for you.

I offer a coaching program for fellow freedom seekers where you will develop the mindset, skills, and strategies required to develop long-term healthy habits.

My story

Professional

I have always been an active person, engaging in everything from team sports to dance to hiking. This led me to train to become a professional dancer/dance teacher. I studied dance for 5 years in different higher education institutes both in Norway and New York. In addition, I studied sports at university for a year. I worked in the field for a while but found it challenging to find jobs as a dancer and teaching dance was not the right path for me either. But what I did learn was discipline, creating a positive learning environment, session planning, and working towards the goal of always improving, all skills that I now use in sessions with my clients.

I then went on to take another degree in Public Administration and Leadership leading me to a job as an adviser in The Department for Environment and Transport in Oslo, where I have worked for 9 years. Working as an adviser has taught me to convey information effectively and clearly to meet a desired outcome because - as we all know - politicians are in a rush to get their message out there. The adviser role has also helped me develop the skill of active listening - taking time to understand points being made and asking clarifying questions so that I am able to convey my recommendations, which are traits I have seen help my clients feel understood and cared for in our sessions.

Health and wellness

I used to be that person who overate, struggled with cravings, and didn´t see the importance of slowing down once in a while. I thought that as long as I worked out, I didn't have to think about any of the other healthy habits like eating balanced, getting enough sleep, prioritizing rest, and working on my mindset.

I also used to be the person who left all my healthy habits back at home when I ventured out into the world, including movement despite my background as a dancer, but I quickly realized that this attitude left me feeling heavy, tired, with low self-esteem and not really rested and energized when heading back home. 

After getting my health coach certification and having had to build my business on the side, while still working a demanding 9-5, I learned how incredibly important it was to prioritize taking care of my health to have the energy and focus needed to be efficient with the little time I had. Building a business also takes a lot of confidence and trust in yourself, something I found in my dedication to showing up for myself every day by sticking to my healthy habits. 

I realized how building trust and confidence in myself and mastering my healthy habits could be directly transferred to other areas in my business where I needed the same mindset and discipline to follow through and get necessary tasks done. 

With these realizations I created the F.R.E.E. Framework, allowing me to have the time, energy, and confidence needed to build my business.

Now I want to teach you how creating sustainable healthy habits will remove limiting beliefs, stress, and overwhelm keeping you from building your dream life.

Personal

My adventurous and spontaneous spirit has led me to travel and explore so many places. Exploring new places both near and far is what gives me the most joy in life, which is pretty obvious if you check out my Instagram, and is something I am looking forward to sharing more about here on my blog as well. I 2022 I built a van with my other half so that we can travel more both in Norway and Europe, allowing us to bring our beloved dog Koia along.   

In the last couple of years, I have also done a lot of inner exploration, especially through my health coach education, which has taught me a lot about myself and helped me grow a healthier mindset.
